Niko Everett Death – Mississippi musician and drummer 32-year-old Niko Everett was killed in a single-car accident on Saturday, the 9th of July 2022 on the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
Nicholas “Niko” Everette passed away after the car he was driving went off the road in Vancleave and struck a tree.
The accident happened at approximately 8:00 a.m. Saturday on Old Biloxi Road. The results of the preliminary investigation into the accident, in which authorities will look into the victim’s condition before the accident and into the possible roles of alcohol, drugs, and speed, have not yet been made public. Niko was a musician from Hattiesburg who plays with several bands across the South.
Tributes to Everette are pouring in on Facebook, including from popular band The Prom Knights. “Niko was an incredible drummer and phenomenal entertainer,” the band said in a Facebook post.
“When he wasn’t playing, you could find him supporting other bands and live music venues. Anyone that has ever shared the stage with him or watched him play is carrying a heavy heart today. You are truly missed, Niko.” Everette had been playing with bands for 12 years and performs on the Coast. Whiskey Kiss played at the Cannery in Biloxi Friday night, according to their Facebook page.

Niko was an American musician in the state of Mississippi. He has performed in quite a few bands for over 12 years. Best known for being the drummer for Whiskey Kiss, he has shared the stage with acts Saliva, Devour The Day, Tom Keifer/Cinderella, Cowboy Mouth, Luke Bryan, and many more. He was also currently performing with Klass Kings.
Having a strong musical background from family and through school since a very young age, his passion for music and his love for art shows in his performances.
Niko Everett’s obituary and funeral arrangements will be announced at a later date by his family.
