15 Second Horror Film Challenge is a nonprofit international filmmaking contest in which celebrity judges decide the top fifteen second horror films and conventions screen our greatest hits before audiences worldwide.
Also! Our expanded separate branch "The Horror Movie Awards" covers short films and features. This branch is NOT judged by 15 Second Horror Film Challenge's celebrity judges and does not play at live screenings. "The Horror Movie Awards" is a digital award showcase only that will be celebrated under the same roof online <3
There are three judging panels:
1. Our 15 Second Horror Film Challenge celebrity RANKING panel determines the 15 Second Horror Film Challenge's OFFICIAL SEASON RANKINGS. Films must be 15 seconds in run-time.
2. Our 15 Second Horror Film Challenge community AWARD panel determines awards across a variety of categories TBD. Films must be 15 seconds in run-time.
3. Our separate branch "The Horror Movie Awards" awards short films (50min and less) and feature films (50min and more). Visit http://filmfreeway.com/TheHorrorMovieAwards accepting entries until December 21st for FREE. You can submit there or here at our 15 Second Horror Film Challenge listing. Films will be funnelled into "The Horror Movie Awards". Only submit short or features into one of the listings. Films being reviewed for award consideration receive a semi-finalist status.
